How do I know I have unhealthy gumsHealthy gums are part of a healthy mouth, you need to maintain oral hygiene to ensure that you have overall oral health. Ensure that you go for regular dental checkups so that the teeth and gums will remain healthy. This is because the dentist will conduct exams and will even do cleanings to keep you healthy, healthy Gums will give you public confidence.

Bleeding gums


When you eat hard foods the gums are not supposed to bleed. Flossing and brushing should not be a reason for you to bleed. If you notice that after doing these activities you are bleeding then this might mean that there is bacteria along the gum line and is causing you to have gingivitis. Gingivitis is a mild form of gum disease and you need to treat it before it becomes advanced and causes periodontitis. Visit the dentist immediately to reverse the effects of gingivitis.
