Meet Our Team in Pontotoc, MS  MelanieOffice ManagerMelanie is a lifelong resident of Pontotoc. She has been married to her husband, Mike, for 35 years, and they share 3 children. She is a proud "MeMel" to four grandchildren. Majority of her career Mel has worked as a remote medical transcriptionist, but in 2016 she transitioned into dentistry working as an office manager. She enjoys photography in her free time, especially snapping sweet memories while spending time with her grandbabies.  SaraInsurance CoordinatorSara was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, but has resided in Mississippi since 2000. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French, and passionate about learning new languages. Sara has Bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. She earned her associates degrees in Computer Science, Finance, and Computer Aided Drafting. Her hobbies include making stained glass, knitting, embroidery, and needlepoint.  Christy, RDHRegistered Dental HygienistChristy has practiced as a dental hygienist for 31 years. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband of 30 years and her 3 children, daughter-in-law, and son-in-law. They enjoy going on road trips, especially to the rodeo or the beach. She has spent 10 years with South Main Dental and loves getting to know her patients.  Melissa, RDHRegistered Dental HygienistMelissa has practiced as a dental hygienist since 2009. She and her husband of 15 years share two children together, and they view Jet, the family dog, as their "third child." You can often find Melissa at the ballfield watching her son play travel baseball. She enjoys traveling to the mountains, camping, nature, and swimming.  MegDental AssistantMeg earned her Associates Degree at ICC in Fine Arts and started her career in dentistry shortly after. She has been married to her husband for eight years, and they share a three-year old daughter, Lyza, and two pets. She has lived in Pontotoc all of her life. In her free time, she enjoys baking, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. Her happy place is at the beach!  Charlee, RDADental AssistantCharlee is a lifelong resident of Pontotoc and graduated from Pontotoc City High School in 2020. She went on to attend ICC prior to completing the Accelerated Academy Dental Assisting Program in Tupelo. Charlee enjoys playing cards, hunting, spending time on the lake, and hanging out with her girlfriends and family. Her favorite title is "fun aunt" to her adorable niece. HannahDental AssistantHannah grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where she was homeschooled. She moved to North Mississippi in 2012 and currently resides in Pontotoc. She earned her Associates Degree in Fine Arts at Northeast Mississippi Community College. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and attending baseball games. She is a frequent volunteer at Transformation Garden, a restorative home for women who are victims of sexual abuse. Her favorite thing about dentistry is the opportunity for interpersonal connection with her patients.  PeggyClinical AdministratorPeggy began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant in 1995, and she currently works as our clinical administrator. She has been married to her husband for 31 years. Okolona, Mississippi is where they call home. They share a 9 year old daughter together, Sarah Beth, whom Peggy is totally devoted to. Her favorite pastimes are spending time with her family, friends, and church community. |
